 Blessings

Merry Christmas To All!

May God bless our nation on this

day in 2008, while most minds are

on the Christ "child".  The Christ child

was sweet and precious...as are all babies....

BUT HE GREW UP!

And after Christmas, and at all times...

may our minds be on

the "grownup" One... Who

loved us all so much

and died on the cross for us.

 HEADLINES

HEADLINES WE'D LIKE TO SEE IN THE NEXT FOUR YEARS!

Internet is cleaned up as pornography loses its popularity!

Drug dealers are seeking honest occupations as more and more people are getting off drugs.

USA becomes independent from foreign oil...opens up massive drilling and refining plus other sources of energy.

Elected officials turn down salary increases for themselves and pledge instead to donate it to the poor!

Crime plummets as nation returns to respect for God and the Bible.

 IN GOD WE STILL TRUST

A TV station recently had a poll and asked if  "In God We Trust" should be removed from U.S. currency? I got over there too late to vote but here are the results:

There were  9,414,115 responses

Yes.  It is  a violation of the principle of separation of church and state.
17%

No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and it does not do anything to establish a state religion.
83%

There are still more of us than there are of them! And this isn't the only subject either, it isn't just the logo on our money...or the pledge of allegience...and evidently more people are educated on our nation's history than are not. So maybe we need to quit cowering down and acting as though we are outnumbered!

 THE BIG MOON

THE BIG MOON ON FRIDAY NIGHT.  THE TREES WERE IN OUR WAY...WE SHOULD HAVE DONE AS USUAL AND GONE OUT ON A HIGH HILL TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOON AND STARS LAST NIGHT.  THIS LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING A KINDERGARTENER MIGHT HAVE DRAWN. LOL

Bobby took the first one. I took this one.  We have found out why this looks like a huge vacumn let down from the sky....or a white tornado.  I was not holding the camera still until the shutter closed.  It took at least 20 seconds or more for it to close, out in the dark, so it was really hard to hold still. This kinda gives me a hint of how those who take photos and see something strange (what could be stranger than this????) and attribute it to something that is unbelievable.
